A commitment to growing entrepreneurialism is a hallmark of Vizalution. We have been involved in creating a number of programs for the City of Tulsa including development of the Tulsa Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, a business model competition entering its fifth year, and the Tulsey Awards, a publicly driven entrepreneurial award now in its fourth year.
We started a hybrid incubator, the Tulsa Collaboratorium, in 2009 as an entrepreneurial accelerator and resource center for Tulsa start-up companies providing coaching, mentorship and access to resources that grow new businesses.
Working with Tulsa Community College we have developed Launch, a hands-on start-up program that takes 15 participants from idea to operating start-up in sixteen short weeks.
We are heavily involved in the promotion of visual thinking as an industry and have founded VizThink Tulsa. We are also licensed by the TED organization to produce TEDxTulsa – the first event was hosted in September 2010.
